The PODFather's handheld module is capable of running on a variety of hardware, from basic PDA units to fully ruggedised devices. The handheld application has been tried-and-tested on all mobile data networks and can operate in any country with mobile internet.
In general, the handheld application of The PODFather is capable of running on any handheld device with the following specification:
- Operating system: Windows Mobile 6.5 or Windows Embedded
- GPRS/3G/HSDPA enabled
- Integrated resistive touchscreen
- Integrated GPS – if tracking is required
- Integrated barcode scanner – if barcode scanning is required
PODFather can supply the hardware direct on either a capital purchase or lease arrangement. Alternatively we can work with your existing hardware supplier or mobile network provider to ensure you obtain the right equipment for your application requirements.
