Plant and hired goods can be tracked from your depot to customer sites using fully integrated depot scheduling and mobile PDA software. With the flexibility to be used either stand-alone, or completely integrated with existing IT systems, The PODFather scales to cope with either single or multi-depot operations.
Typically PODFather is integrated into existing job booking systems to accept a feed of customer orders in either real-time or scheduled frequencies.
Scheduling modules are available to plan multi-drop runs, as well as warn depot staff if time-critical deliveries are going to be late.
The PDA system allows for items to be photographed at the point of delivery or collection ensure any damages are well documented, and accepted by the customer onsite. Commonly health and safety questions are also confirmed by the customer before a name and signature are captured.
As soon as a delivery is complete, the POD is returned in real-time where it is automatically archived, and can be downloaded into existing system to trigger invoices.
By removing paper PODs from the business, many problems are eliminated, including:
