To get The PODFather up and running:

  • First you'll need an PC and an internet connection;
  • Then you'll need to provide your 'mobile' worker with a GPRS/3G enabled handheld - take a look at the HTC TyTN II on the Orange website here as an example;
  • Job details can then be entered into The PODFather manually or automatically uploaded from an existing system via The PODFather's system integration interface, and can be viewed immediately and allocated out to your drivers;
  • Customers can also view their completed orders - or PODs - over the internet using a real-time online portal.
